About Pace :
- Pace was founded in 1906. It’s a private university with a focus on the liberal arts and sciences. Pace has two campuses, one of them is in lower Manhattan, and the other is in Westchester County. This university is ranked number one in the nation for upward economic mobility on students who enter the school at the bottom fifth of the income distribution and end up in the top fifth by the time they finish.
Important Characteristics of Pace:
- Pace stands out from the rest by placing an emphasis on in depth teaching. Students have several tools at their disposal including special tutoring, support services, and academic advising.
- Because of the school’s location, much of the student’s work involves professional application and real world experience.
- Pace’s mission statement is Opportunitas.
- About 13,000 students are admitted into Pace University each year. Around 9,000 of those students are undergraduates
